The Ryburns

Phil and Meredith Ryburn met in Sydney, Australia, where Phil grew up, and where both attended Bible College. Their dating relationship was tested by distance early on when Phil’s work took him to lead a nonprofit serving asylum seekers and refugees off the coast of Australia. During this year, and with the help of email and Skype (remember them) the couple learned much about communication, connection and time zones. In 2011 Meredith returned to the USA, where she grew up, to start working at Cornerstone Church. The distance relationship continued…

Then in 2012, they married in Hawaii – chosen for its beautiful beaches, and strategic proximity to both sets of families. Over the past decade their marriage has grown to be full of laughter, purpose, and a relentless pursuit of Biblical Justice. 

Together they have a passion to help people find and walk in their own passion. This likemindedness was one of the many things that originally drew the couple together.

Together they are raising their children in Northwest Ohio. Theodore Brave born in 2015, Lincoln Justice born in 2018 and adopted in 2020, and Winston Faith born in 2020.

Family time involves being outdoors as much as is possible as they explore the Metroparks, savoring the region’s growing cafe culture, and enjoying the adventure of where God leads each day.
